Heya! My name is Dizzy. Just a 33 year old geek/nerd from Australia, who wants to curate their own little space on the internet. I plan on keeping this as a little blog/hobby site, as an exercise to make sure I keep remembering how to code (something I've been doing since I was 12 years old!), and of course - for fun
I built my first PC at the age of 13, from old PC parts from family members.
My main reason for doing so was so I could play Morrowind! I played the game at a friends' house, and was immediately hooked. Thus began my interest in PCs/tech, but also video games and modding games as well. Today I am a very experienced PC builder, and game modder for Bethesda games, and even others (i.e Stardew Valley, Cyberpunk)
I also love trying to troubleshoot/fix things. I feel like I can't stop until it's fixed!
I am also an INCREDIBLY big fan of horror movies/tv shows/games. I started at a young age playing horror video games with my mum and siblings (thanks mum?)
My favourites are: Silent Hill, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Resident Evil, Clock Tower and Fatal Frame.
